Jadeite Jade was first introduced around Ming Dynasty, and became a favourite in Qing Dynasty. It is said that Emperor Qianlong and Empress Dowager Cixi love it for its wide variety of colour. Subsequently, Jadeite Jade became well-known for its ability to bring harmony and keep its wearer from harm.
